Our approach

A desirable future is possible
and plausible

"What we are trying to show: a desirable future is possible and plausible, given the real constraints of the economy, politics, and human nature. Not a utopia. A path."

The problem we are trying to solve

Information about climate, biodiversity, and society exists in abundance. The problem lies in the register in which it arrives: collapse, catastrophe, urgency, end of the world. All of it is true. None of it helps us act.

This overload of catastrophism produces a documented effect: eco-anxiety that paralyses rather than mobilises. We know the world is changing. We do not know what to do with this information, or how to live with it.

Bloomii exists to fill that gap.

What we believe

That the future is not written. That solutions exist, work, and are documented. That women and men are already building a different future — in their farms, laboratories, communes, and cooperatives.

We do not sell easy hope. We do not hide real problems. Optimism that ignores obstacles is not optimism — it is wishful thinking, and it serves no one.

How we work

Every article published on Bloomii follows a three-step process:

  1. 01
Primary source research — scientific studies, official reports, institutional data. No secondary sources without a verifiable primary.
  2. 02
Writing with citations — every quantified claim links back to its source. We quote verbatim where possible.
  3. 03
Fact-checking — an independent review verifies every data point and applies an honesty test: are we selecting only positive figures while ignoring nuance? If so, the article is revised.

This process is slower. It produces fewer articles. That is the choice we made.

What Bloomii is not

  • An aggregator of "good news" designed to make you feel better without changing anything.
  • A partisan outlet — no political line, no party, no ideology to defend.
  • An organisation. No members, no subscriptions, no manifesto to sign.
  • A source of personal lifestyle advice or self-development content.

The themes we cover

Five pillars, each explored with the same rigour:
